Steps Needed To Get HazMat Endorsement
- Complete an ELDT Theory & HazMat Training
- Undergo a TSA security threat assessment
- Complete the HazMat application through your state DMV
- Have a valid CDL or CLP, and be 21 years old or older
- Have a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical)
- Pass the DMV written exam
