Technology & Maintenance Council

Bringing Together Those Who Support Trucking In Nebraska

The Nebraska Trucking Association’s Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) is dedicated to advancing innovation and excellence in vehicle maintenance across Nebraska.

The council supports the professional growth, recognition, and technical expertise of maintenance professionals in the trucking industry. Whether it’s a technician, fleet manager, educator, or supplier, the TMC provides opportunities to connect, learn, and lead in the ever-evolving world of transportation technology.

TMC and Truck Center Companies support Nebraska SkillsUSA in Grand Island.

What We Do

At the heart of the TMC’s work are two cornerstone events that celebrate and strengthen Nebraska’s maintenance community: the Nebraska SuperTech and Nebraska SkillsUSA.

Nebraska SuperTech

Each year, the TMC proudly hosts Nebraska SuperTech, the state’s premier skills competition for diesel technicians. This two-part event showcases the precision, problem-solving, and expertise required to keep the trucking industry moving safely and efficiently.

Central Community College and Southeast Community College proudly partner with the TMC to host this annual event every other year. The Nebraska champion goes on to compete nationally.

The TMC proudly supports Nebraska SkillsUSA, a statewide competition that prepares and inspires the next generation of skilled technicians. High school and college students are given opportunities to test their abilities through hands-on challenges, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving. By partnering with Nebraska SkillsUSA, the TMC helps connect students with rewarding career paths in trucking and diesel technology — encouraging excellence, confidence, and professional growth.
