The Nebraska Trucking Foundation scholarship program is unlike any other, designed to support the next generation of Nebraska’s trucking professionals. Our mission is to strengthen the trucking industry from the inside out by helping students take the final step toward a rewarding career in this essential field.

Miles of opportunity and endless possibilities await those who have the drive. Careers in the transportation industry are abundant, fulfilling, affordable, and financially rewarding. The Nebraska Trucking Foundation awards scholarships on a rolling, monthly basis. This process ensures students receive timely financial support when it matters most, by aligning with program schedules.
Scholarships are available to men and women ages 18 and older. Applicants must be enrolled in a truck driver training and/or diesel technology program at a Nebraska community college, including Iowa Western Community College. The process can be completed in three easy steps: 1. ENROLL. 2. APPLY. 3. RECEIVE. Once enrolled in a CDL or diesel technology program, students are eligible for scholarship assistance through the Nebraska Trucking Foundation.
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Training Scholarships
Scholarships are available for up to $1,500 to support Nebraska students in pursuing their dreams of driving the open road.
Diesel Technology Training Scholarships
Scholarships are available for up to $3,000 to support Nebraska students dreaming of working on our country’s big rigs.
