FMCSA Q&A – Special Guest Speaker Elyse Mueller, Division Administrator for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Lincoln
What tends to confuse you when reading the federal motor carrier safety regulations? What seems mysterious about the way scoring is handled in the CSA safety measurement system? What do you want to learn more about when it comes to the safety management cycle? Whatever your question, you can get it answered at March’s Safety Management Council program. In fact, we encourage you to submit your questions by February 24. We’ll give them to our presenter so she’ll be ready with the answer at the meeting, and she won’t know who asked the question. About our presenter: Elyse Mueller is the Division Administrator for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration office in Lincoln, Nebraska. Mueller is a graduate of St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, with a B.S. in criminal justice. She began her career in commercial motor vehicle enforcement in 1983 with the Missouri State Highway Patrol. She worked in the St. Louis area as a commercial vehicle inspector for over six years before starting with FMCSA. Mueller came to the Nebraska division office in 1990 as a safety investigator. She was promoted to division team leader and division program specialist before being named the administrator in 1999.
